This installation was created as part of a Moving Image course where the brief was to create a short, seamless looping video projection. Reflecting on my emotional cultural experiences, 

I created this projection around the way my mum shows love through small, but meaningful sacrifices. This work was displayed in the UNSW 2022 Media Arts Showcase. 

The ripest fruit falls from the tree.

My mum has always given the ripest to me,

prepared and peeled my fruit for me, given me the best piece of meat

while she takes the bone,

given me more

while she only has some.
